THIS IS THE MOMENT WHERE “LET’S TRY THIS” TURNS INTO “OKAY, THIS IS REAL”. SVE ĆE GORJET AND AMORALAN START AS FAMILIAR SOUNDING BALKAN POP-RAP TRACKS BUT ALREADY PULL TOWARD SOMETHING DARKER, MORE OBSESSIVE AND LESS MORAL. FUN SONGS FIRST, EXISTENTIAL CRISIS SECOND. SIMPLER BEATS, LOUD HOOKS, CROATIAN LYRICS THAT SWING BETWEEN SELF-AWARE JOKES AND GENUINE RESTLESSNESS. THERE’S A LITTLE BURST OF HIGH SCHOOL FAME IN HERE TOO: CLASSROOM SPEAKERS, GROUP CHATS, EVERYONE HAVING AN OPINION. THIS ISN’T REALLY CHAVKE’S GENRE, WHICH IS EXACTLY THE POINT.
THE IDEA IS THERE, JUST STILL WRAPPED IN A FEW COMFORT LAYERS.
Sve Će Gorjet is Chavke’s debut song. It follows an exaggerated club fantasy: a girl who acts like money, brands and Moet are the only language she understands, and a narrator who is willing to play along. Between jokes, bragging and repetitive hooks, there is teenage obsession, insecurity and a wish to be seen as bigger than he is. The line “sve će gorjet” turns that mix of excitement and anxiety into a party slogan: everything, and everyone, is about to burn.
Amoralan is Chavke’s second song. In it, Chavke emphasizes his psychological transformation from a very emotional person to someone who no longer lets emotions and morality weigh him down, but instead tries to enjoy life. Although moments of weakness still come, he reminds himself that he is now amoral.
