Ne Pitaj o Njoj is a confession wrapped in layers of poison and ambiguity. It’s an admission of everything except the one thing the Chavke refuses to talk about: “her.” He openly admits he’s lying, cheating, and poisoning himself, all while keeping that one mystery off-limits. Yet by the end, the song turns inward: it’s not just about hiding “her,” it’s about the desperate need to peel off every layer of himself, even his own skin, to find what’s underneath. Musically, it’s folk on steroids and drugs, a gothic-psychedelic swirl of distorted Balkan melodies and whispered vocals, creating an intimate but unsettling atmosphere. In the end, the song is both a refusal and a plea: don’t ask about her, but do come closer and strip everything away to see what’s left of me.
